The alarm goes off and the first thing out of your mouth is, “Fuuu***k!” Like the day is your enemy, or at best like an obnoxious roommate who you tolerate just because you have to. It doesn’t need to be that way. It shouldn’t be that way. Life isn’t meant to be merely endured. It’s meant to be lived, boldly, bravely, fully, joyously. It's not enough to merely survive . . . the goal is to THRIVE. That can sound like a tall order, I know. In fact, when I was the most stuck the idea of living a joyous life wasn’t even on my radar. I would have been content with just a not-quite-so-sucky life. What I ultimately discovered was that living a life of joy isn’t hard at all. In fact, it’s a hell of a lot easier than the alternative. And smarter too. You can have a life of abiding Joy that begins NOW. It’s within your power.
